Flowers and plants have fascinated me for many years ... it's not just the pleasure of growing them but their endless variety of colours, shapes and unashamed beauty.  

They are a subject that has inspired artists for centuries and no doubt nearly every person who has picked up a camera has tackled the challenge of creating a worthwhile image.  Most of us have discovered along the way that flowers are not quite as easy to photograph as first thought.  

Having been involved in many aspects of photography for about 15 years, I am now focussing on the subject of flowers, plants and gardens. 

The flowers displayed here are an attempt to capture their intricate structure, enchanting colours and pure elegance.  The challenge continues. 

Flowers have a tendency to inspire and delight those who have the privilege of taking a closer look ... my desire is that these images will bring joy and inspiration to all who take the time to browse.
